Mimi`s Pizzeria in Dallas

I’m from jersey shore I’ve been in Dallas for 4 months. Im also a pizza Connoisseur in my own right lol. Best pizza I’ve had so far. Very good taste like home.

Good fresh pizza and calzones. Mozzarella is so fresh and full flavored. Price is reasonable and options are plenty. Staff is not the most helpful and the menu does not do a great job at pricing and explaining the cost. Calzones are 1 topping for $7.95 but each additional is $2, up to $10.95 for the calzone with supreme toppings. Still cheaper than most pizza places but the menu and staff do not disclose the pricing on toppings for a calzone. (Aka the reason I visited this place was for a calzone)

This is truly NY Pizza. If you want to try real NY Pizza with the thin crust and perfect crunch they know how to make it perfect. The sauce and cheese is perfectly portioned. It is hard to impress this New Yorker with Pizza in TX however Mimi’s is truly legit.

Found this gem by accident!! So happy we did. I’m a native NYer and this is one of the best pizza parlors outside of Tri State area❤️ It’s a must try!

I love going here. This place has a good design. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

This is my first and last time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered online (today) the Sicilian special with my own customized ingredients. They delivered the wrong pizza. So I called them to replace it, and they brought back another pizza that was nowhere near what I ordered online. On top of that, the second pizza crust is burnt and the pizza itself tastes 10x saltier than the 1st one. When I was even explaining to them on the phone, they basically forwarded me to 4 different people who kept asking me what the issue was. At that point I was severely annoyed. I just moved to the area, and was looking for pizza places that deliver. I read the “positive” reviews on here thinking I was going to have a positive experience. Nope!!! Very disappointed. It’s even worse when you’re a pregnant woman dealing with cravings and people can’t get it right. Smdh

In A Nutshell:-Mimi's Pizzeria is a local favorite in D-Town.-It's a simple layout w/ one key ingredient: the pizza oven.-This heart of the restaurant pumps out pizzas faster than you can spell P-I-Z-Z-A.-You'll be tempted to eat the entire pie yourself, that's why you order two.Overall, I'll be coming back again for more.

Great pizza! My chicken piccata was a little on the dry side, wish they added more sauce to my pasta.

Ok so where do you go in Dallas for amazing pizza? THIS IS IT! Being from NY, it's been hard to call anything in Dallas pizza. After a few months we found a few places which are decent, but for years now, nothing touches Mimi's! This is authentic NY/NJ style pizza. Thin, cooked to perfection, with great topping choices all around. The only thing I miss is fried dough that is common in parts of NY. (Imagine fried bite sized pieces of dough soaked in butter and covered in powdered sugar. Makes my mouth water thinking about it!) Do not skip this place if you like pizza!

I ordered a Margherita slice and they gave me a regular slice and just threw on tomatoes, mozz, Basil, and a cup of oil... making it a soggy oily mess. it’s sad because I liked this place, but likely won’t be back. Also, the guy at register handles the Food... Just tell people you are out of certain things and don’t try to patch things together. Also, have one person at register who is not working with food.

Owner and employees refused to wear masks or wear them properly as mandated by our governor while preparing food.

Small family owned pizza shop where you can get a very good slice any time, whole pizza, also a nice menu of pasta, salads, calzones and chicken wings.Great Chicken Wings....Yes, Great I go there special for the wings...try it.

Confirmed twice after talking to two people that we placed a delivery order before hanging up. Waited an hour and a half before calling to confirm the order was on the way to be told it was placed as pick up. They didn’t feel the need to call about an order just sitting then tried to send the food that had been sitting out. Ever since Benny the original manager left it’s been downhill. Avoid at all costs

The cook dont wear gloves cooking your food...and he touching his phone and never washed his hands...just continued making pizzas for customers....

Super tasty, NY style pizza! Really reminds me of the pizza I'd get when I lived in the NJ/NY area - perfect for folding the slices in half haha. We ordered the XL "The Works" pie and it was delicious. At ~$22 for the size and number of toppings, not a bad price. I can't speak for the service because we ordered it as carry-out, but the inside looked pretty nice and casual. I would definitely come here again!

Our favorite pizzeria in DFW. The margarita pie is so good. The perfect balance of the sauce, cheese and crust. Their pizza is nice and crunchy. The kids love their meatballs too which can be ordered a la carte. Authentic NY style pizza! Check it out!!

Awesome!!!! I love this place. The pizza is amazing , my husband had the veal he said its reminded him of his grandmother back at home. I also had a salad and it was fresh with fresh ingredients. Staff is friendly and works fast. Place was clean and quiet. I can't waite to come back and my kids loved loved loved it.

Old school Pizzeria with great New York slices.

Looking forward to a return visit. It has a good feel to it. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I loved.

I ordered two slices of pepperoni, the dude literally took two slices of sausage pepperoni that had been sitting out and took the sausage off and gave it to me. I was too shocked to even say anything in person. I was standing right there and he thought that was acceptable! If there’s no pepperoni, make more. Absolutely shameless behavior.

Ok pizzas are good but I am not sure you will be happy if you have in mind an italian pizza. But I guess that is the concept, Mimi's Pizzeria as its name so i like the concept. My pizza was good and I loved the salads alsoPrices are ok

Came here the other day when I wasn't too hungry, looking for a small meal. Walked in and started looking at the menu, and in the meantime, I saw the way several groups of people just came up and chatted and shook hands with who I assume is the owner? Super friendly guy, treating each of his customers as if he was the only one there.Anyway, I ended up getting the chicken Caesar salad, which was actually amazing and very generously sized. It took some time, which at first threw me off since I expected a salad to be an instant throw together kind of thing, but I realized when I got it and tried it that the chicken had JUST been cooked, and the lettuce was so fresh as if it had just been cut. It's JUST A SALAD - why is it so good? Meanwhile my friend had a combo pasta of some kind which I tried.... it was pretty tasty and I was jealous, ha.Yea so I'm definitely coming back here and trying the pizza next time... I feel like I missed out!

Hands down the best pizza place in Dallas. They started out in New York and came here, it shows. The pizzas just as good if not better than most places you’d get pizza from in New York. The pictures shown attest for how good the pizzeria is. There’s a slice missing... so is the roof of my mouth they had just pulled the pizza from out of the oven... totally worth it!!!

Their gluten free pizza is good, but customer service and management are bad enough that it’s not worth it. Staff was rude about providing curbside delivery and they issued duplicate charges on our credit card. I called the restaurant have this resolved and it still hasn’t been fixed. I’ll be calling my credit card company to have them deal with it. We won’t be back.

A great standby for Spanish tapas. They've expanded into next door for additional seating. Cozy and very intimate atmosphere for dates and small gatherings

The food is consistently well prepared and yummy, staff members hands over great customer service. I loved how clean it is and character. Highly recommended.

The best pizza in Dallas, the closest thing to New York pizza!!!

I really like the food, but the staff isn’t overly friendly. I wish they’d smile a little more and Act like they appreciate your business. I find them cool to cold! With just a little tweaking they could have a line out the door every day, because the pizza is really good!

Good NY style pizza.

Went in yesterday for dinner 10-31-19. Party of 6 we placed an order for a large pepperoni pizza and spaghetti with meat balls. To get our order took over 30mins. Looks like they need another way to manage how the orders go in order and which way orders to be coming out. The guys in the back counter all look confused. The ones taking the orders and the ones making the pizza. We won't be back food was tasteless. I rather go to Anthony's Eatalian they take extra care of their customers and food is great.

Oh my this place is delicious! I ordered fettuccine Alfredo and a couple pizzas. The whole family was satisfied! Definitely returning

Entered near eleven, it wasn't packed. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. The place has a nice atmosphere. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.

Really great marinara sauce. At first the fried Calamari looks great then the taste is great. It tastes fresh as if the ocean is in the back. The chicken parmesan looks like an awesome bowl of cheese but underneath I would think the chicken knew his life was ending for a good reason. If you don't order this ask whomever you are with to order it and then steal some of theirs.

Great pizza as always. Did not have pizza ready when I arrived for pick up. I had ordered 2 hours ago. Only started making after I arrived and paid up. Guy at the cash register got defensive when I questioned why other folks seem to have their orders ready but mine wasn’t.

No masks are worn here. And if you ask for one to be worn, the owner just might cuss you out.

I ordered a stromboli, and got the saddest soggiest half cooked food I have ever had the displeasure of tasting. I couldn’t take more than one bite it was revolting on top of that the delivery driver didn’t have any change on top of an already overpriced meal. will be looking elsewhere from now on for italian.

Loved the pizza. It is just right. The pizza sauce is just right. Not to acidic and not to sweet just right. The dipping sauce for the Calzone can be better. I did not like the dipping sauce very much.
